Botox

Overview of the surgery:
Botox treatment is the most reliable brand among a variety of Botulinum
toxin complex products that we use for medical purpose nowadays. Botox
blocks the mechanism of a neurotransmitter called Acetylcholine and its
receptor thereby preventing any action of the end organs controlled by this
Acetylcholine. The popular aesthetic indications include softening
expression lines and wrinkles, reducing muscle bulks like jaw muscle and
calf muscle, lifting eye brows, defining jaw lines and minimizing excessive
sweating. Botox injection is repeatable, reproducible and usually keeps its
aesthetically pleasing effect for up to 1 year.
Involves several tiny shots of a hair-sized needle that causes less than a
discomfort. As they say “Looking for Botox injection, you need to look for
the right injector”. The doctor must use his artistic eyes together with a
thorough understanding of the anatomy and function of the area to be
manipulated as well as those that may be secondarily affected by the
injection to ensure that this procedure is performed safely with a satisfied
result. There is no needle mark, neither any post treatment sign that you
had something done.
